Greetings Dana...HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! LOL. Wonderful virtual launch! Keep on doing what you're doing.
Books that have influenced my life...
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou; one of the first books I read by an Af-Am author.

Mama Day by Gloria Naylor and There Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston...two wonderful love stories about black love.

Roots--the fact that black folks could actually trace their roots to Africa...30 some years ago that was almost unheard of.

Autobiography of Malcolm X--there was so much more to the man than met the eye.

I could go on and one...but if it's a book that empowers, inspires, enlightens, educates...and I've read it...it's probably left an impression on me and helped shape, influence who I am today.
